After months of searching, going on interviews, and just being plain old exhausted from the whole unemployment situation, I finally landed a job! The good news is that I will be staying here in Las Vegas!
To all of you out there who are sitting in Survival Mode, don't give up. No matter how stressed and tired you get, stick with it. Although this experience has been very difficult, I think that it's good for each and every one of us to get a little reminder now and then. Difficult times like these make the best of times that much better!
New Layout, crazy ads, Elvis sightings, and OH...Football!

Welcome to the new and improved KriMonster!
As you can see, I decided to update my layout. I've been feeling a little melancholy lately with the job search, so I figured that since I'm blogging again, I should spice things up a little bit.
I like the new layout so far. It was easy to download and set up, which made me happy. The only problem that I'm experiencing is with my ads. I unchecked the check box that asks if you want to display ads in between posts, however, they're still there. Maybe this will be one of those little issues that disappears without doing anything. After getting a good night's rest, I'll check the site in the morning to see if it's still an issue.
Although I've been a little out of touch, here's proof that both Elvis and I are still alive and well in Las Vegas.
Elvis at Guitar Center. We look related.
Elvis at Casa di Amore:
And Elvis at Ellis Island. This guy was alive and kicking!

And finally. For those of you who don't know, I love football. I'm not one of those crazy fans that knows all of the stats, players names, win/loss records, and so on. However, there's nothing like hanging out with good friends, drinking beer, and watching a little football. I grew up in the Tahoe area, which means that the closest city was San Francisco. Luckily Joe Montana lead the charge while I was growing up, which meant that I had no choice but to be a 49ers fan. They're 3-0 in pre-season so far. Let's see how long they can make it last. Go Niners!
